Strawberry Festival!
Community gathering at the corner park by the town hall. This was a wonderful small town dynamic event. The Geauga County Fair Band treated us with a concert. They even played happy birthday while the crowd sang the words for a young Claridonite who turned 4 that day. Food from Claridon Community Helps was enjoyed along with cake, ice cream and, of course, strawberrys. Join us next year! Stay tuned for the date and times.

Get Down with the Town!
Community Gathering
Claridon Recreation Park
This will be our 4th Annual Get Down with the Town community gathering. Last year was a great success! It absolutely had an old-school dynamic. Claridonites brought dishes to share, Heritage meats provided all beef hot dogs and quarter pound local beef patties (this made for an attractive and delicious buffet!) , one of our churches, the New Testament Baptist Church, donated King Kone to be there, Claridon Community Helps provided trinkets as prizes for the three carnival games and Jaon the D.J. spun the records. It's only a 2-hour gathering for the purpose of all of us being there at the same time so we can get to know each as community members. This time, we will have name tags for you to add your name and the road you live on so it will be even easier to meet neighbors. Please join us. Let's promote Claridon to possess that 'old-school' sense of community that makes a township like ours that much more enjoyable to live in! Please contact Jonathan Tiber if you are able and willing to offer something as well.
Community Dinners
Neighbors getting to know neighbors. One of the best things that brings a community together is FOOD! This is a free dinner prepared and served by the fabulous group, Claridon Community Helps. It's every 3rd Tuesday of each month and held at the first congregational church during the 5:00 pm hour. You can dine in (reccommended for getting to know other fantastic Claridonites like yourself) or carry out.
