Board of Zoning Appeals and Public Hearings
The BZA conducts hearings from residents who appeal a denied Zoning Certificate.
Claridon's BZA meets at 6:30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Hearings/meetings take place at the Claridon Township Administration Building at 13932 Mayfield Rd.

Zoning Commission
The Zoning Commission reviews Claridon Zoning Regulations as they look for anything that causes interpretive challenges.
They also review the regulations in order to keep them up to date.
The Claridon Zoning Commission meets at 6:00 pm on the 4th Monday of each month except for November & December.
Meetings take place at the Claridon Township Administration Building at 13932 Mayfield Rd.

Not every road in our township are Township roads. Some are County roads. The Geauga County Engineer is responsible for County roads. Some are State roads. The Ohio Department of Transportation (District 12) is responsible for State roads. Claridon Township is responsible for 14.165 miles of Township roads.
